Welcome to our channel! In this video, Katie from Blue Notary is here to demystify virtual notarization and explain how it works. If you’ve ever wondered about the process or what to expect, you’ve come to the right place. Katie takes you through the step-by-step procedure, ensuring you have a clear understanding.
To begin with, you’ll either hand over your document to the notary or visit bluenotary.us to upload your documents. Then, you’ll have a virtual meeting with the notary, similar to a Zoom call but on a secure platform. During this meeting, you’ll go through identity verification, which involves uploading your ID and going through a secondary check. Don’t worry, it’s as simple as taking pictures of the front and back of your ID, similar to depositing checks through a banking app.
Once your identity is confirmed, you’ll proceed with the virtual meeting. The notary may ask a few questions to ensure your understanding of the document’s contents and to ensure everything is done correctly. You’ll sign the documents, and the notary will place their notarization seals. Immediately after the notarization, you’ll receive your finalized documents, making the process efficient and hassle-free.
